At Wadham road, our dedicated staff work on a rota basis to support five beneficaries with learning difficulties. The successful candidates will protect their dignity when providing the care they require and ensure that they have life fulfilment.
Experience of working with People with a learning disability and complex needs will be an advantage and you must be able to demonstrate compassion, dedication and flexibility at all times. Each beneficiary has a Community Pathway that is a clear structure in assisting staff when supporting a person.
The Successful Applicant:

We are currently recruiting for: Business Development and Marketing Coordinator
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Location of role: Hybrid model. Based from home with some days working from Head office or out in our services across the regions we operate in
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our newly formed Business Development and Marketing team at Nugent. The role will include supporting the Business Development and Marketing team to deliver the objectives outlined in Nugent’s growth strategy which includes increasing business revenue, and identifying and developing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for coordinating internal team functions and meetings in addition to logging and tracking key documentation and data for the Development and Marketing team.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience working in a Business Development or Marketing capacity within in a Charitable, Education or Public Sector with a proven track record of administrative and commercial understanding. You will be competent in supporting award winning proposals that clearly articulate Nugent’s values and quality whilst engaging and tracking wider team discussions to ensure business activities are both feasible and viable. You will have knowledge of business development best practice and the skills required to embed them within a newly formed department including monitoring potential opportunities, efficient and collaborative business consideration processes, managing tender responses through to submission and supporting management to collate data for competitive presentations. You will also have project management experience, assisting in tracking project teams to ensure any newly won business is implemented to quality, contract and budget targets.

Job Title: Specialist Child Care Workers
Hours of work: Full time 39 hours, Part time 19.5 hours a week and Relief on a 24/7 rota
Location of role: St Helens, Merseyside
The Role
The Meadows is a new residential provision that focusses on supporting children who have been in a specialised secure environment. The service offer is a psychologically informed, therapeutic environment to support young people to move from a model of physical security to relational security.
The service will provide three components: Residential Care, Education Offer and Health Offer.
The Person
We are currently recruiting for Specialist Childcare Workers who will be responsible for providing outstanding care to the children and young people, treating them with dignity and respect.
As a Specialist Care Worker, you must be optimistic and compassionate about the care you provide, promoting good childcare practices through the provision of a caring environment for the children in accordance with the home’s statement of purpose and function, and in line with Nugent’s core values. Delivering care that is formulation driven: to participate in the development of psychological formulations based on trauma and adverse childhood understandings that inform and direct care provision.
To support young people to be kept safe through the relationships they form with staff, rather than physical restrictions. To use models of complex relational care, in order to prepare young people for progression to fulfilling adult lives. Showing ambition and integrity in your interactions with the young people, as they are all individuals.
The successful candidates will have a Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People’s workforce or equivalent or a willingness to work towards this, which will be funded via an accredited Apprenticeship.

Marydale Secure Children’s Home is a nationwide resource providing both secure and open facilities for young people aged between 10 and 17. Our primary function is to offer protection to young people when they are in crisis and provide a support pathway for the future.
We are currently recruiting for Secure Care Workers who will be responsible for providing outstanding care to the children and young people, treating them with compassion and respect. Whilst the successful candidate will cover the full remit of the role, there will be an expectation for the post holder to have a primary focus on either ‘intervention work’ or ‘activity work’ with our young people.
You will provide essential support to our young people by helping them gain the best outcome; you will support with education, health, independence and build their self-confidence. As a Secure Care Worker, you must be optimistic and passionate about the care you provide and difference you strive to make and considerate of the struggles they face. The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. Our young people are individuals and they all deserve to be treated as such.

Hours of work: 38hrs per week
Are you able to manage extremely challenging situations whilst maintaining high levels of empathy and understanding? Do you have the resilience, compassion and dedication to create a positive environment for children and young people within a secure residential setting?
As a Secure Care Worker, you will be required to provide outstanding care to children and young people who can demonstrate abusive and aggressive behavior. You will have the ability to continually reach out to them, show patience, understanding and work with our dedicated teams for the best outcomes.
This great opportunity will predominately cover nights. Your duties will include regular observations, completing reports/assessments and ensuring the safety to the children and young people at all times.
The successful candidate will have a Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People’s workforce or a willingness to work towards this, which will be funded via Nugent’s accredited assessment Centre.
Shift pattern:
Our night shifts being at 21.15pm until 7.15am- waking night. on a 38-hour working week. You will work with other members of our dedicated night team.
